Job Description:
The Asia Pacific dividend analyst handles a variety of processing, reconciliation, and problem-solving tasks in the dynamic Asia Pacific markets.  This role offers a mix of daily work along with more nuanced problem-solving which can be different depending on each specific country. Analyst will make dividend payments to our clients, where country of incorporation for the stock is in Asia Pacific region.  Payment processing often requires foreign currency exchange orders, depending on underlying client entitlements.   Payment date +1 stock and cash reconciliation is performed daily  to ensure all of the team's processing ledgers are in balance and any breaks are resolved in a timely manner.

The AMRS Asia Pacific dividend processing analyst will perform functions related to Asia Pacific market dividend payments for our Global Wealth Investment Management and Hedge Funds clients. The analyst will be responsible for ensuring all payments received from custodians are released on pay date to our underlying clients. The role requires outstanding attention to detail, time management as deadlines can not be missed on elections, expiring events, excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) with our internal and external stakeholders and the ability to work under pressure and in a team environment.

Required Qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience in finance Operations
  • Presentable, confident and LOB / client focused. 
  • Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure in a team environment.
  • Self-motivated and able to work with little or no supervision after a period of time. Candidate will be able to manage their own time and know when to escalate issues.
  • Previous experience in the corporate actions / dividends space is recommended.
