Overview

This role is part of the Global Markets Change Management (GM CM) team. The Global Markets Change Management (GM CM) team is responsible for the business planning and delivery of complex, front-to-back change for Global Markets.  We are a diverse, high-performing team that partners with Trading, Sales, Operations, Technology, Legal, and Compliance to implement sustainable solutions across the Global Markets organization.  We manage global programs with multi-jurisdictional impacts, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and strategic business goals. The team also supports the strategic business planning process for Global Markets where careful preparation and planning are required to ensure the department and business priorities are aligned and funded appropriately for the continued success of the business.  Team members act as thought leaders, business analysts, project managers, and change agents who thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments.

The ideal candidate will have experience leading large, complex business initiatives and an understanding of Global Markets products/functions.  The ability to partner and effectively communicate across the organization is an important factor in successfully delivering projects.

Key Responsibilities

As a Change Manager/Project Lead within GMCM, you will:

  • Manage and deliver regulatory and strategic change initiatives from inception to implementation.
  • Support the Business Planning process through coordinating the submissions, reviews and communication throughout the process.
  • Develop and execute program/project roadmaps, including discrete workstreams and dependencies.
  • Collaborate with Business, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and Technology to develop project objectives, risks, and execution strategies.
  • Review legal and regulatory requirements to assess business impact, and formulate appropriate action plans in response.
  • Facilitate governance routines and steering committees to ensure project transparency and issue escalation.
  • Coordinate cross-border and cross-legal-entity implementation efforts to maintain alignment and consistency.
  • Lead or support the development of training materials and communications to support regulatory readiness.
  • Document project decisions, deliverables, and process walkthroughs to ensure a robust audit trail.
  • Drive clear and effective communication across workstreams and produce high-quality documentation, including project plans, project decisions, business requirements, and training materials.
  • Proactively escalate issues and facilitate senior management decision-making as needed.
  • Identify, track and resolve issues and risks related to the initiative.
  • Review and track financial costs related to the Global Markets initiatives.
  • Utilize data analytics to drive business insights, inform decisions, and report on program progress and impact.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong comfort and familiarity with GM businesses (FICC, Equities, PB, F&O, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of AMRS Regulations, such as CFTC, SEC and FINRA rules
  • Program/project management experience with demonstrated ability to build project roadmaps, manage several key stakeholders and take ownership for delivery.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to simplify complex information into messages targeted to various levels of leadership.  Speaks clearly, concisely, and knows the audience. Can recognize when less is more, and when more is needed and adjust real-time.
  • Excellent critical thinking/problem solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data from multiple sources and objectively make reasoned judgment. Additionally, able to present outcome or results of the analysis in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Takes initiative and demonstrates a focused desire to understand responsibilities and drive/implement improvements.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to adapt to changing business/regulatory environments.
  • Experience working with technical teams and translating technical concepts to business audiences.
  • Must be able to work well in collaborative team environment, but also independently run initiatives.
  • Excellent time management skills.  Understands dependencies and the difference between critical path deliverables and those that are not.  Understands the impacts of schedule delays on financials, risk, and strategy and can balance the need for escalation with non-impacting schedule misses and escalate appropriately when necessary or manage it independently when escalation is not needed.

  • Proficient in data aggregation, integration, and analysis

New York pay range:

$110,000.00 - $250,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan.
