Job Description:

This job is responsible for executing multiple Human Resources (HR) activities, across all Lines of Business (LOB) in the NoBraMex region (Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Peru).

Based out of Santiago – Chile, this role’s key responsibilities include executing tactical HR plans to achieve strategic objectives and organizational effectiveness. The individual in this role will partner with the HR Generalists and specialists on a wide range of activities and supporting functions across the bank such as talent acquisition, compensation, employee relations, regulatory compliance, performance management, and employee engagement and development. The HR Consultant must be a demonstrated self-starter with an excellent track record of success in his/her current environment, must also be an organized, decisive, results-oriented professional who can develop and manage relationships across LOBs with a wide variety of partners based on trust, teamwork and knowledge.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Monitoring the information received from local lawyers and analyzing HR impacts from a regulatory perspective;

  • Severance calculations, revisions of the calculations, confer with lawyers as needed;

  • Support on monitoring pending vacations;

  • HR vendors management processes and procurement related tasks;

  • Benefits management recurring tasks;

  • Collaborate with the Life Safety Team and monitor Internal Labor Regulation documents; participate in related Committees required by law;

  • Assist on operational tasks connected to Talent Acquisition processes;

  • Support onboarding & offboarding of employees;

  • General support to training needs and ad-hoc events logistics.

  • Leverages systems and reporting tools (i.e., Workday and Tableau) to inform effective and strategic decision making for HR Managers

Qualifications requirements:

  • 5+ years of HR experience in a variety of HR disciplines

  • Strong attention to detail and quality control

  • Intellectual curiosity; always questioning how to take work to the next level

  • Able to anticipate the needs of HR generalists

  • Strong analytical skills – experience gathering, organizing, analyzing and presenting large amounts of data

  • Strong communication (verbal & written) and presentation skills assimilating data into a results-based story

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and integrity

  • A strong team-player work ethic with the ability to engage with different levels of the organization

  • Ability to handle confidential and proprietary information with discretion and balance risk and reward with a strong focus on compliance

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products, with emphasis on strong Excel (familiar with lookup's, pivots, conditional formulas) and PowerPoint skills

  • Proficiency with HR systems desired i.e. Workday, Tableau

  • Fluent English and Spanish required
