Job Description:
This job is responsible for providing advanced end-to-end operational support for securities, loans, exchange traded derivatives and over the counter derivatives across multiple lines of business, and cross-business functional support through the lifecycle of a trade. Key responsibilities include ensuring trading and operational activities are completed accurately and before deadlines, researching and resolving complex issues, and simplifying client interactions. Job expectations include being customer oriented and data driven, while focusing on continuous improvement.
Line of Business Job Description:
This position will be on an operations team within the AMRS Exchange Traded Derivatives organization that supports US Listed Option product for Bank of America Securities LLC and Merrill Lynch Pierce Fenner & Smith client bases. The team is responsible for all operational components of the option trade life cycle, from the moment after execution through settlement. Some of the job functions include trade date and trade date + 1 position and trade break reporting / reconciliations, trade allocations, exercise instruction, corporate action processing, exercise and assignment balancing, option position transfers and cash reconciliations of trades. Additionally, this position will be responsible for aiding initiative efforts across the US Listed Options organization. This candidate will primarily work with operations teams in Charlotte, NC and Jacksonville, FL, but will have opportunity to liaise with brokers, clients, exchanges, CCPs, compliance, front office and LOB personnel. The ideal fit for this role is a candidate who possesses a high level of intellectual curiosity and desire to take on process ownership, the ability to network within neighboring teams to develop process understanding
