Role Description:

Sitting in the Global Fixed Income Operations Strategy and Transformation team, we are looking for a seasoned professional with Fixed Income Operations or Middle office change experience to deliver on a dynamic and varied portfolio of process re-engineering, change initiatives and transformation programs.

The team have a variety of Internal Transformation & Simplification programs and also a large book of external facing Industry change portfolio. The successful candidate will have had demonstrable experience of analysing and resolving highly complex operations problems and have run a portfolio of change projects.

The role will have a high level of stakeholder exposure across Operations, Technology, Sales & Trading, Finance, and Risk hence it’s essential that the candidate is an excellent communicator and leader.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Analyses and resolves highly complex operational problem
  • Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Identify and document business needs by working closely with stakeholders. Translate business requirements into functional specifications
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the liaison between business stakeholders and the technical team. Ensure all parties have a common understanding of the project objectives
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze business data to understand trends, patterns and issues. Develop reports and dashboards to measure process performance and help stakeholders make informed decisions
  • Solution Design and Validation: Propose and evaluate solutions to meet business needs. Conduct testing and validation of new processes or systems before full implementation
  • Project Management and Training

What we are looking for:

  • Proven track record in operations or Middle Office transformation within the financial services industry
  • Deep understanding of the operational needs in the Fixed Income business
  • Ability to face off with senior business heads at a strategic level while understanding the detail
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to review and highlight project risks and issues and partner on mitigating solutions
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the enterprise
  • Ability to conduct presentations with emphasis on storytelling to convey and influence the case for change
  • Expertise in using data analytics and reporting tools (Excel, Tableau, Power BI)
