Responsibilities

  • Analyze market dynamics, secondary trading levels of comparable companies and relevant precedent transactions to inform pricing analysis.

  • Analyze a client’s capital structure and leverage profile via statement models, cash flow models, capital structure analysis to present a financing solution via Private Placements.

  • Prepare transaction marketing materials including investor presentations and offering memorandums.

  • Coordinate with professionals throughout the organization and communicate effectively with third-party partners including clients, institutional investors, lawyers, co-agents, and rating agencies.

  • Complete administrative tasks including maintaining proprietary databases of market trends, internal P&L tracking, deal filing, updating sales force platforms, and league table submissions.

  • Provide financial, operations, and business support within a corporate or investment banking environment.

  • Execute Private Placement and syndicated Fixed Income transactions for issuers including coverage of financial institutions (domestic and international).

  • Develop and maintain financial models to analyze trends, including cash flow, leveraged buyout, cost of capital analysis, ability-to-pay, value-creation, operating models, and statement models.

  • Perform comprehensive pricing analysis using comparable companies and precedent transactions.

  • Prepare client presentation materials, internal approval memos, and marketing documents including roadshow materials, confidential information memorandums, and rating agency presentations to execute transactions.

  • Conduct research using Bloomberg, Moody’s, S&P, LCD comps, and other financial databases to analyze market data and competitive dynamics.

  • Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Master's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related; and

  • 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related finance occupation.

  • Must include 3 years of experience in each of the following:

  • Providing financial, operations, and business support within a corporate or investment banking environment;

  • Executing Private Placement and syndicated Fixed Income transactions for issuers including coverage of financial institutions (domestic and international);

  • Developing and maintaining financial models to analyze trends, including cash flow, leveraged buyout, cost of capital analysis, ability-to-pay, value-creation, operating models, and statement models;

  • Performing comprehensive pricing analysis using comparable companies and precedent transactions;

  • Preparing client presentation materials, internal approval memos, and marketing documents including roadshow materials, confidential information memorandums, and rating agency presentations to execute transactions; and,

  • Conducting research using Bloomberg, Moody’s, S&P, LCD comps, and other financial databases to analyze market data and competitive dynamics.

  • In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of progressively responsible experience.

  • 10% domestic travel, as necessary.

Illinois pay range:

$200,000.00 - $210,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
