Tax Accountant II (TA II), Fiduciary Tax Services (FTA) -
This job is responsible for providing technical fiduciary expertise to Private Bank client teams, focused on differentiating client service and expanding client relationships. Key responsibilities include providing accurate and timely tax reporting for assigned accounts and conducting tax research to resolve complex tax issues. Job expectations include complying with client focused service standards, bank standards and policies, and federal and state fiduciary tax reporting requirements.
Provides technical fiduciary tax expertise to Private Bank client teams focused on differentiating client service and expanding client relationships. Insures all tax responsibilities required of assigned accounts are fulfilled, achieving client focused service standards and complying with bank standards and policies, and federal and state tax laws. Generally responsible for the more complex fiduciary tax matters related to charitable trusts. Provide timely and accurate tax reporting for charitable trusts including preparation of returns for Private Foundations, Supporting Organizations and Split Interest Trusts. Candidate will provide tax information including Minimum Required Distributions (for Foundations), annualize estimates as needed, respond to correspondence from taxing authorities, and other tax matters related to charitable trusts. Proactively identify opportunities to contact Trust Officers regarding tax matters to enhance client services. Maintain knowledge of tax law changes related to charitable trusts and increase knowledge through training. Take personal responsibility for career development.
