Job Description:
This job is responsible for providing leadership, technical direction and oversight to a team delivering technology solutions. Key responsibilities of the job are to provide oversight of the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex computer programs, align technical solutions to business objectives, and ensure that coding practices/quality comply with software development standards. Job expectations include conducting multiple software implementations and applying both depth and breadth in knowledge of several technical competencies.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Developer to lead the design, development, and deployment of a centralized, intuitive interface that enhances the efficiency of Defender Tools teams. This role requires a strong development lead who can blend enterprise cybersecurity expertise with developer best practices to create a seamless, scalable, and highly effective application.


As the feature lead, you will drive the strategic vision for a multi environment platform that integrates security tools, telemetry, automation, and analytics into a unified experience. You will collaborate closely with SOC analysts, threat hunters, incident responders, and security engineers to ensure that the interface meets operational needs while reducing friction and improving response times.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the strategy for a multi environment platform, aligning with enterprise security goals and operational needs.
  • Lead a cross-functional team of contractors, engineers, UX designers, and cybersecurity specialists to deliver a robust, scalable platform.
  • Partner with SOC, incident response, threat intelligence, and vulnerability management teams to ensure the interface enhances security operations workflows.
  • Drive adoption and engagement, ensuring continuous feedback loops from end users to refine and improve functionality.
  • Oversee the design and development of a user-friendly, data-driven interface that consolidates security event data, logs, threat intelligence, and automation tools.
  • Ensure seamless integration with SIEM, SOAR, TIP, EDR, cloud security tools, and other enterprise security platforms.
  • Establish performance metrics, usability testing, and iterative improvement cycles to continuously refine the platform.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering
  • 7+ years of experience developing in .Net technologies as Full Stack Developer 
  • Experience with UI development with React/Angular or similar framework
  • Experience with data visualization, security analytics, and AI-driven decision support.
  • Experience managing vendor integrations, open-source tooling, and API-based security solutions
  • Design and build horizontally scalable components within the major platform that the team is developing 
  • Review and provide code feedback in terms of best practices with keen eye towards performance and stability optimizations 
  • Become subject matter expert on code deployed on our platform and mentor other developers 
  • Expertise in functional and object-oriented programming 
  • Experience in databases (relational/document/etc.) including NoSQL databases 

Desired:

  • 5+ Years in cybersecurity desired.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud security architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevSecOps methodologies.
  • Deep knowledge of enterprise security operations tools (SIEM, SOAR, EDR, threat intelligence, log management, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of SOC workflows, incident response, and security automation best practices.

Colorado pay range:

$103,900.00 - $168,500.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
