Job Description:
Responsible for the end-to-end credit management process supporting the Public Sector Banking line of business. Associate will manage a portfolio of complex credits, ensuring overall adherence to Credit, Regulatory and Procedural Policies and Guidelines, and an understanding of these guidelines as they relate to the Municipal Banking business. Partnering with Credit Products, Finance, Operations and the client, the associate will facilitate closings and renewal of commercial credit including coordination of approvals, review of legal documentation, engagement of business partners, and monitoring credit compliance as well as resolution of portfolio exceptions and ensuring overall accuracy.
Additionally, the associate works directly with clients to ensure the timely collection of all required financial information, and completes required monitoring activities including the completion of spreads, covenant tests, annual and interim reviews, MCDCs and assisting Credit Products team with market research.
Within the scope of activities, the associate will ensures data integrity in primary systems; Global Monitoring System, LoanIQ, Electronic Data Repository, and Global Underwriting System, and deliver practical innovative solutions to clients and business partners. They will demonstrate the ability to balance portfolio management along with participation in work-groups. Successfully manages multiple priorities with minimal supervision or oversight.
