Global Business Services delivers Technology and Operations capabilities to Lines of Business and Staff Support Functions of Bank of America through a centrally managed, globally integrated delivery model and globally resilient operations.

In India, we are present in five locations and operate as BA Continuum India Private Limited (BACI), a non-banking subsidiary of Bank of America Corporation and the operating company for India operations of Global Business Services.

Process Overview*

Investment & Banking Solutions Technology team is responsible for all Retail, Preferred and GWIM products catering to Retail and Preferred customers and GWIM clients. The products includes Credit Cards for Retail as well as Small Business customers, Deposits, Consumer Lending and Client Underwriting (including Vehicle Loans and Home Loans), Investment Products for GWIM and US Trust clients and Retirement products for Institutions. This team performs application development, testing (functional and automation), design/architecture and business analysis functions to deliver the technology solutions through robust and scalable application platforms developed on various technologies such as Appian, .Net, Java/J2EE, Angular JS, Mainframe, SQL Server, DB2 and Oracle.

Job Description*. 

This job is responsible for providing leadership, technical direction and oversight to a team delivering technology solutions. Key responsibilities of the job are to provide oversight of the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex computer programs, align technical solutions to business objectives, and ensure that coding practices/quality comply with software development standards. Job expectations include conducting multiple software implementations and applying both depth and breadth in knowledge of several technical competencies.

Responsibilities*
Key responsibilities include:

• Design, develop and take accountability for feature delivery. 
• Apply enterprise standards for solution design, coding and quality. 
• Ensure solution meets product acceptance criteria with minimal technical debt. 
• Guide the team on work breakdown and execution. 
• Work with the Product Owner to ensure that product backlog/requirements are healthy and include clear acceptance criteria. 
• Play a team lead role (as an individual contributor) and mentor the team. 
• Guide team members with skills and practice (planning and estimation, peer reviews, and other engineering practices). 

Requirements

Education* B.E./ B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech

Experience Range* 10 to 15 years

Foundational skills*

• Devops, SQL/Oracle, T-SQL, PL/SQL, Jira, MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Core Java, Java Spring boot
• Release Management Tools
• Change Request Process Management
• Scrum Master certification is a plus.

Desired skills*

• Skilled in writing complex queries using SQL Server & Oracle in analyzing the data.
• Good hands on experience on Devops.
• Excellent data analysis and data profiling skills using SQL & Oracle.
• Very good understanding of Data & Relationship concepts.
• Works under minimal supervision on data analysis and data quality support functions.
• Must have hands on experience supporting release activities utilizing UiPath Orchestrator.
• Ability to create, maintain and conduct Release routines
• Ability to troubleshoot complex business inquiries.
• Ability to interpret data lineage and guide the development team in fixing upstream/downstream issues.
• Ability to work with multiple business partners and prioritize changes with other scrum teams.
