Global Business Services delivers Technology and Operations capabilities to Lines of Business and Staff Support Functions of Bank of America through a centrally managed, globally integrated delivery model and globally resilient operations.

In India, we are present in five locations and operate as BA Continuum India Private Limited (BACI), a non-banking subsidiary of Bank of America Corporation and the operating company for India operations of Global Business Services.

Process Overview:

Global Banking & Markets division serves mid- to large-sized corporations and institutional clients worldwide. The Risk and Finance Technology team provides end-to-end technology solutions and support for Chief Risk Officer and Chief Financial Officers. Global Regulatory Reporting Technology partners with Global Finance Controllers & CFO business stakeholders to automate complex business processes that satisfy current regulations and position the firm to address future regulatory requirements. Operational and Line of Business Regulatory reporting comprises of Regulatory disclosures, financial and nonfinancial reporting to all the stakeholders across the globe. The portfolio is responsible for designing, building and maintaining high performing software systems that are used by APAC, EMEA and US regulators globally.

  • Proven experience in controlling implementation projects across various banks.
  • Participated in the design and implementation of new business processes.
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements

Job Description:

A Senior person with strong project management background, communication, experience in influencing global stakeholders. This is a tech PM (IC role) who will be responsible for coordinating with business and technology teams, managing project timelines, objectives, statues, scope, budget and managing risk.

Responsibilities

  • Creating the technology strategy and ensuring technology solutions comply with enterprise data management standards, global records management standards, and data quality and control practices for authorized data sources.
  • Interacting with Business and Technology team
  • Learn new technologies when directed as future development may involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies, and tools.
  • Key responsibilities include communicating the objectives, coordinating delivery, managing risks, ensuring compliance to standards, and providing end-to-end visibility into the health of the project.

Requirements

  • Education: B.E. in Computer Science / Electronics / MBA in Finance
  • Certifications If Any: NA
  • Experience Range: 12 – 17 Years

Foundational Skills: 

  • Experience in managing fast paced, challenging technology delivery teams
  • Responsible for planning, coordinating and delivery of projects requiring engagement from multiple teams and stakeholder groups.
  • Ensure execution and delivery meets the client’s expectations in terms of the functionality, quality, timeline, and cost.
  • Facilitate communications and connects between business and technology leaders across multiple organizations.
  • Project management experience including stakeholder management, project communications, risk management, resource management and planning/execution of complex set of deliverables.
  • Delivery experience in a regulated environment with ability to ensure adherence to audit requirements, operational standards, and enterprise change management standards.
  • Experience in delivering software projects/programs with working knowledge of analysis, development, testing and release management practices.
  • Excellent communication skills with experience in engaging and leveraging technology teams, vendors, and business partners to efficiently deliver business solutions.
  • Ability to work on own initiative in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Hands on approach with pragmatic decision-making capability.
  • Experience with work management and collaborative tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Ideally financial services experience with an understanding of financial products, business processes and terminology
  • Ability to work in multi technology project.
  • Knowledge on Investment banking, strong understanding of data related technology stack is a plus.
  • Excellent oral/written communication skills / Stakeholder Management Skills
  • Organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
