Job Description:
This job is responsible for providing moderately complex research, reporting, and analytical support for the delivery of end-to-end support for Global Markets sales, trading and underwriting business for securities, foreign exchange, fixed income, exchange traded derivatives, and over-the-counter derivatives across multiple Lines of Business. Key responsibilities include carrying out duties under general supervision and assisting teammates while following established procedures.

GMSO Fees and Billing team have an exciting opportunity available for a talented individual to work in a dynamic and growing billing team.

The Global Fees and Billing team are responsible for managing a wide variety third party billing across Global Markets. 

The Billing team provide billing services across product which provides our talented group with opportunities to partner with senior stakeholders across the Front Line Unit, COO group, Finance, Vendor Managers, Senior Operations Management as well as many others.

Responsibilities:

  • Candidates will have responsibility for reconciliation of specific settlement flows and products for the ETD  lines of business. 
  • The successful candidate will assist the ETD Receivable teams in Charlotte whilst also working to ensure that a robust control framework is in place and that the process is run in a risk controlled environment. 
  • The successful candidate will drive process improvement opportunities, new process integration, regulatory reform or any other associated initiatives      
  • Maintains accuracy of client portfolio using internal and external comparison tools
  • Performs research and conducts moderately complex analyses using established techniques, including transactions that require special handling and exception handling
  • Explores methods to enhance processes, further reduce risks, and boost client experience
  • Partners with colleagues on the trade and sales support teams, as well as external agents
  • Creates reports and liaises with internal partners to ensure proper client reporting and assist with regulatory reporting
  • Escalates potential risks and exposures to manager in a timely manner
  • Assists with ad-hoc projects, new processes, or initiatives requiring coordination among subject matter experts representing multiple product areas or functions

  • Excel ( Macros, Pivot tables )
  • Good Customer Services Skills ( Phone, Verbal, Online)
  • Financial experience ( securities or mortgage or loan, invoicing)
  • Ability to manage and resolve queries independently and able to demonstrate a logical approach to problem solving
  • Ability to communicate clearly and precisely in both written and verbal context
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards when dealing with tight deadlines, high volumes and demanding clients
  • Ability to partner with key stakeholders from front office sales and trading, Finance and the COO group
