Job Description:
Supports other aviation personnel by performing manual tasks around the hangar. Line Service Personnel are responsible for the ground handling, fueling supervision and cleaning of Bank of America aircraft and ground-based equipment. The unique and complex functions of the Aviation Department will routinely require this person to perform duties outside the defined job description.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Line Service Personnel are responsible for the ground handling of aircraft at Bank of America hangar.
Must be able to supervise aircraft fueling as requested by corporation pilots.
This person will clean and care for the interior and exterior of Bank of America aircraft and Aviation Department equipment as prescribed by the Chief of Maintenance.
May assist maintenance technicians as instructed by the Chief of Maintenance.
Moving aircraft in and out of the hangar.
Assisting passengers in any appropriate manner.
Assisting in loading luggage or baggage in aircraft.
Assist arriving and departing aircraft (at scheduled hours).
Report safety problems.
Hangar facility maintenance and upkeep (hangar floor cleaning, etc.).
Work in all weather conditions.
Required Qualifications:
Previous experiences working around aircraft.
Demonstrate strong customer service experiences.
Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Must be able to work independently and in a team setting.
Basic computer skills.
Must have good physical strength and stamina.
Must be able to work flexible hours and schedules.
Willingness to learn new skills and procedures working around Jet aircraft.
Minimum Education Requirement:
High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
