Job Summary:

This job is responsible for driving and executing on internal control discipline and operational excellence within a Line of Business (LOB) or Enterprise Control Function (ECF). Key responsibilities include providing analytical and administrative support for LOB or ECF specific processes and tools to drive adherence to enterprise-wide standards. Job expectations include monitoring and testing controls and implementing quality assurance and quality control processes within the LOB or ECF by evaluating data to help identify, track, and report issues and control improvements for remediation.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • This role is responsible for managing medium to large projects for an operations department or Line of Business.
  • Key responsibilities include planning and determining appropriate approach, coordinating execution across stakeholders, managing project scope, planning, and organizing, and directing the execution.
  • Job expectations include acting as the first point of contact for end-to-end project status, project health, risk mitigation, and timely escalation to leadership and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience managing medium to large-scale projects, ideally in an operation financial service environment.
  • Strong Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent Communicational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Effective communicator with experience in stakeholder management and leadership engagement.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Partners with LOB to understand requirements for assigned projects, partners with stakeholders, and provides reporting for the overall health of the project
  • Manages, leads and directs the work efforts functionally aligned to the project
  • Establishes and follows the framework and structure for how the program and projects will operate
  • Partners with operations management on creating project impact and providing direction and guidance to internal teams
  • Coordinates development of key project deliverables in partnership with various key internal business partners
  • Manages and leads the execution of multiple and often competing priorities to meet deadlines and adhere with policies and procedures
  • Ensures stakeholder engagement and keeps them informed of progress
  • Establishes project status routines and tracks critical path deadlines and overall business measures for success
  • Strives to bring new thoughts and ideas to teams in order to drive innovation and unique solutions
  • Excels in working among diverse viewpoints to determine the best path forward
  • Experience in connecting with a diverse set of clients to understand future business needs - is a continuous learner
  • Commitment to challenging the status quo and promoting positive change.
