The Global Equities group includes Institutional Derivatives Sales, Derivative and Convertible Trading, Institutional Equity Sales, Equity Trading, Electronic Trading Services, Prime Brokerage and OTC Trading. Global Equities provides marketing, structuring and trading of listed and customized equity products for its clients.
Job Description
• Work with the Sales & Trading teams based out of multiple regions – NYC, London and HK
• Provide a broad range of data and analytical support to Product and COO desks across global locations
Responsibilities
• Provide a broad range of data and analytical support to stakeholders across global locations
• With the guidance from EMEA based ESSL team (Trading and Sales), help to produce desk metrics on volumes, clients and pricing for senior management
• Build out new analytics capabilities – client, product and platform
• Perform Sales/Event-Based/Custom Basket Analytics in single stocks & ETFs
• Design & Track Book of Work for Traders, Salespersons & Strats
• Provide book, client, index and event analytics to provide business insight and suggest portfolio rebalancing solutions
• Key point person on gathering and developing data and information to analyze size and composition of important initiatives
• Compile news reports, research reports across sectors to create comprehensive product reports; create presentations for the business pertaining to these tasks • Monitor flow and book give-up trades (for swap transactions) on internal systems
• Provide Sales/Trading desk analytics around client profitability/PnL metrics • Provide PMO support to Product and COO stakeholders • Help global COOs create outreach initiatives like client KYC dates to avoid restrictions and closures • Work with COOs to create distribution emails to Sales Traders to monitor and track T&E spends • Standardize data input process across numerous desks and stakeholders
• Help design key strategy and sales notes for stakeholders
Requirements
• Master’s Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or other relevant area
• Strong data analytics, quant skills
• Detailed oriented with strong quantitative and analytical skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment with demonstrated feedback
• Ability to interact with all levels of an organization; including management
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills
• Ability to maintain high standards despite pressing deadlines
• Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently
• Strong knowledge of general business and corporate cultures
• Must have excellent judgment; independent thinker and resourceful
• Prior experience in Financial Services support preferred

Work Timings
9:30 AM to 6:30 PM & 12:30 PM to 9:30 PM – Shift timings are subjective to change depending upon the business requirements. Associates should be flexible enough to work in the revised shifts. Propensity to work on public holidays including weekends and long hours
