Process Overview

The ERF Application Production Support & Engineering (ERF APS&E) team provides technology solutions to support the Chief Risk Officer and Enterprise Capital Management Organizations. The Risk technology teams calculates various risk metrics including Credit, Market and Liquidity Risk for the various LOBs within the bank, supports the Risk business to generate actionable insights and ensure that we stay within our Risk Limits. It also enables reporting of the data to various regulators and supports key regulatory mandates including Enterprise Stress Test runs. The technology teams also support functions that manages the Bank’s capital and invests capital on behalf of the enterprise, manage earnings, liquidity and funding. It also supports the business which oversee mortgage servicing rights, pricing, hedging, trading and delivery of mortgage products.

Job Description

The candidate is expected to work as a part of ERF APS&E organization. The candidate will be part of GRA/EMR Team which manages the production support for the Global Risk Analytics (GRA) domain. The candidate will be designated to Support team that manages the GRA Applications comprising of Risk Analytics Platform, GRA Core platform applications which provides the platform for  Enterprise Stress Testing (EST),  Annual CCAR run Model executions. This role requires a diverse range of skills like Hadoop, Big Data and tools like openshift, Cloudera Manager.

Candidate would have to pick up Batch / User Support for GRA Applications and lead from the front. He / She should have minimum 6 years of prior experience overall with about 3 years minimum in BFSI (Global Markets preferred) application Support or as a business analyst in technology.

Responsibilities

• Lead from front in order manage production outage (Incident / Problem Management) and ensure proper communications are sent out in time.
• Understand the basic functionality of GRA Business and its dependent upstream requirements.
• Ensure that the business queries are answered and resolved within defined SLA.
• Ensure that the daily batches are running good and are completed within defined SLA's.
• Automate the Manual work as and when required.
• Improve the efficiency of environment by re-engineering the process to remove redundancies.
• Build good relationship with Business users, Dev partners and other support teams.
• Work on addition projects for improving production efficiency as well as reducing risk

Requirements

• Education: B.E/B.TECH/MCA/B.Sc/M.Sc
• Certifications If Any: Desirable to have BFSI Domain certifications (if any)
• Experience Range
  • 12 to 18 years
  • Minimum 12+ Years of IT experience
  • Must have at least 8+ years of Support role including above
  • Preferable to have 5+ Years with BFSI experience
• Foundational skills
  • General financial instruments knowledge (equities, fixed income, options, swaps, futures, foreign exchange) in capital markets area.
  • Hands on experience in UNIX and shell scripting.
  • Hands on experience in Database (Oracle OR SQL Server OR SYBASE)
  • Experience in Job scheduling tools like Autosys or Control M
  • Experience in Monitoring tools like ITRS Geneos.
  • Aware of ITIL concepts like Incident and Problem Management.
  • Team Management experience
• Desired skills
  • Exposure to OO languages like Java or Python would be a plus
  • Exposure to Big Data technologies like Exadata / Hadoop / MapR would be a big plus
  • Exposure to Informatica / Netezza DB Job Scheduling would be an advantage

Work Timings

Rotational Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM IST (alternative shift 11:30 AM to 8:30 PM IST)
