Job Description:

This is a Trader role within our Central Risk Book (CRB) desk in APAC Equities. The desk creates synergies in other areas of the Equities business, including Index Swap, Single Stock Swap, Derivatives, Facilitation.

This role is responsible for systematic market making, alpha signals design and optimization, managing strategy risk and developing trading activities with limited direction from senior staff.

Responsibilities:

• Partners with various teams to help the bank's clients execute trading activities, while sharing knowledge of the current market environment.
• Performs trading activities in compliance with regulations, industry standards, and other requirements and ensures trading orders are executed with the highest degree of accuracy and time efficiency.
• Operates as a market maker, buying and selling financial instruments in accordance with established trading strategies and risk parameters.

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate for CRB requires the combination of quantitative, technical, and commercial focus.
• Strong Python technical background.
• Solid experience and knowledge in Options market-making and low latency trading system optimization.
• Experience in trading system design and implementation, market connectivity and trading strategies.
• Understanding of market dynamics, market data, back testing framework.
• Strong critical thinking and risk management.
• Excellent communication skills and highly collaborative.
