Responsibilities
This is an exciting opportunity to join our newly created Global Payments Solutions (GPS) Non-Financial Regulatory Reporting Center of Excellence (NFRR COE) to centrally manage the ownership of GPS NFRRs. Our Global Payments Solutions (GPS) business turns technological advances into treasury solutions, offering a smarter, more sophisticated treasury relationship that redefines insights, delivers efficiency and helps our clients stay ahead.
As a GPS NFRR COE Report Owner, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with regulatory reporting requirements and developing and maintaining procedures and processes to ensure accurate, complete, and timely submission of regulatory reports in conformance with regulatory instructions.
We’re looking for someone with a passion for the financial industry and a commitment to producing high-quality work. The ideal candidate for this role will have experience in regulatory reporting. To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.
Responsible for accurate, complete, and timely submission of NFRRs in conformance with regulatory instructions.
Develop and maintain procedures and processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency of all regulatory reporting activities and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory reporting requirements.
Partner closely with risk function colleagues to identify, understand, and implement new regulatory reporting requirements.
Collaborate with the Governance team on governance procedures, error escalation and issue management processes.
Provide expertise on regulatory reporting requirements and best practices.
Troubleshoot and drive the resolution of issues related to regulatory reporting.
Participate in audit/regulatory/compliance assessments and key governance forums.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent application of regulatory standards.
Liaise with senior stakeholders to address potential risks and challenges.
What we are looking for
Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent working experience in banking or finance industry.
Experience in internal audits and/or regulatory audits.
Knowledge in Transaction Banking products offered by global financial institutions.
Prior experience in Transaction Banking will be advantageous.
Fluency in English required and proficiency in at least two foreign languages (French, Portuguese, or Spanish).
Excellent professional skills, including verbal and written communication, presentation, time management and stakeholder management.
Experience in regulatory reporting will be highly beneficial.
Demonstrate critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
Candidate will be a self-motivated, keen attention to detail and can take ownership of delivery.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
Possess an understanding of governing regulations would be advantageous.
