Job Description

As a country product manager, reporting to Head of Treasury Product Southeast Asia, the incumbent will manage the development and growth of transaction banking business in the country. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all the domestic and regional products (payments, collections, liquidity, balance sheet, cards, bank notes and channels) in Bangkok and will be accountable for the implementation and execution of the strategy determined by regional team.

The role will require to work closely with key internal business partners, particularly sales, client servicing and fulfillment, operations, change management, compliance, legal and technology to commercialize new product solutions and grow the business, ensure compliance with the regulations, improve operational risk and ensure product delivery and performance to our clients. 

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree with 15 years of transaction banking experience
  • Sound knowledge of financial products and solutions
  • Knowledge of local tax and regulatory environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and local language
  • Strong presentation, consultative and relationship skills
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft office products i.e.  PowerPoint, Excel, Word
  • Understanding of global transaction banking best practices including competitor benchmarking

Desired

  • Strong leadership, managerial and interpersonal skills
  • Experience of working in leading global bank for over 5 years in transaction banking
  • Experience of engaging with tech to develop solutions including designing, BRD writeup, testing, system architecture etc.
