Role Overview
As Product Manager, PayByBank, you will be spearheading the Bank’s effort to further commercialise its PayByBank offering as well as other innovative payments and receivables solutions.
Key role within our Payments and Receivables team. This opportunity offers autonomy for a product manager to own and set direction for the PayByBank key element of our EMEA payments infrastructure, and to interact with a wide range of stakeholders at different levels, including Sales, Technology, Operations, and Risk and Control functions.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Manage the regional PayByBank product offering, overseeing the product business case, client pipeline, development roadmap and go-to-market strategy.
Manage additional innovative and emerging payment-related products and propositions as determined.
Work with internal partners, clients, and external partners to identify opportunities to enhance the product offering, developing business plans and promoting the roadmap internally.
Ensure delivery of high-quality go-to-market materials including presentations, pitch materials, internal guidelines, case studies, etc.
Engage in management and oversight of external partner relationships supporting the delivery of the product suite.
Co-own and develop a pipeline of prospects, assisting with qualification, pitching, solutioning, technical expertise and onboarding.
Manage the product development pipeline, acting as a central player in development teams and projects.
Collaborate closely with a range of internal partners including Sales, Operations, Technology, Compliance and Legal to deliver sustainable solutions.
What we are looking for
Detailed knowledge and first-hand experience of marketing, selling, developing and/or managing PayByBank solutions.
In-depth understanding of the related transaction banking environment including key Financial Institutions, technology providers, platforms, and external market forces.
Knowledge of and experience in working with broader transaction banking products including payments, receivables and merchant services/acquiring.
Broad understanding of system infrastructure, Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), payment platforms, marketing and EMEA payment schemes.
Strong preference for experience in supporting and developing solutions in the large Corporate client space.
Experience as a Product Manager or equivalent role.
Extensive experience working with clients/end-users, including solutioning, pitching, consulting.
An existing industry network and experience of participation in thought leadership and/or public affairs.
Experience in business development, product innovation and/or technical product management.
Understanding of product risk, governance, and compliance requirements.
