Job Summary:

We are looking for a professional with middle office experience to deliver on a dynamic and varied portfolio of Fixed Income Operations change initiatives and transformation programs.
Specifically, the successful candidate will be aligned to Trade Control Change, Regulatory Compliance, Product Enablement and Platform Stability e.g. Operational Risk Reduction. The role requires operational acumen to deliver the Fixed Income Operational transformation agenda, adding value to Operations and the business. The role will help drive robust procedures and deliver communication routines to ensure initiatives are successfully delivered across the enterprise. The role will also have a high level of stakeholder exposure across Operations, Technology,  Sales & Trading, Finance, and Risk.

Responsibilities:

  • Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Identify and document business needs by working closely with stakeholders. Translate business requirements into functional specifications.
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the liaison between business stakeholders and the technical team. Ensure all parties have a common understanding of the project objectives.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze business data to understand trends, patterns and issues. Develop reports and dashboards to measure process performance and help stakeholders make informed decisions.
  • Solution Design and Validation: Propose and evaluate solutions to meet business needs. Conduct testing and validation of new processes or systems before full implementation.
  • Change Management and Training: Help plan and execute changes in business processes or systems, e.g. due to regulatory change or to improve processes. Create documentation and provide training for end users.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in operations transformation and Middle Office functions within the financial services industry, preferably within securities operations.
  • Deep understanding of the operational needs in the Fixed Income business and pain points of different asset class segments
  • Ability to face off with senior business heads at a strategic level while understanding the detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to review and highlight project risks and issues and partner on mitigating solutions
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the enterprise
  • Ability to conduct presentations with emphasis on story-telling to convey and influence the case for change
  • Expertise in using data analytics and reporting tools (Excel, Tableau, Power BI)

New York pay range:

$65,000.00 - $120,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible
