The Tax Advisor will regularly interact with teams across finance, technology, internal audit, and GFCI, providing a unique opportunity to gain comprehensive exposure to various functions within the bank.

• Collaborate with the global tax policy group and external advisory teams to oversee and review tax-related results and compliance for non-U.S. entities.
• Project and Process Improvement:
• Participate in ongoing simplification projects, particularly around book-tax differences and forecasting projections for non-U.S. operations.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve tax processes and reporting efficiencies.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Taxation, or a closely related field.
• At least 7 years of public accounting experience or relevant industry experience, preferably within a financial institution.
• Proficient knowledge of ASC 740, U.S. GAAP, and current tax laws.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams.
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet internal and external deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Desired Qualifications:
• CPA certification.
• Experience with Corptax software and SAP General Ledger systems.
• Familiarity with emerging technologies (e.g., Tableau, Alteryx) for enhanced data analysis and reporting.
Skills:
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively work with diverse teams across various departments.
• High adaptability and problem-solving skills to manage evolving tax requirements and project demands.
• Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on detail-oriented tasks and time management.
