Process Overview

Bank of America is looking for a Software Developer where they will have the opportunity to work on our mission critical commercial cards applications. The team works closely with the business and strategic partners to design and develop applications for the GCIBT GPST Line of Business

Job Description

This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, coding solutions, unit testing, and ensuring the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust, and well-tested interfaces. Job expectations include an awareness of development and testing practices in the industry. Should be aware of Horizon tools, Jenkins, bit bucket, XLR, JIRA, CI-CD pipeline, is an individual contributor to a team. This is a horizontal role supporting GCIB & GPST teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Work as a Developer as a part of Agile team.
  • Support BAU Applications
  • Be a team player.  
  • Participates in Agile ceremonies and contribute to achieve the team’s goal.
  • Participates, contributes, and can coach team members in the delivery/release (CI-CD) events. E.g. branching timelines, pull requests, issue triage, merge/conflict resolution, release notes.

  • B.E./ B. Tech
