Role Description:
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the wider CFO Group based in Paris.
Gain an in-depth understanding of the financial products, market risk profile and risk mitigation techniques and strategies within the EU legal entities
Be responsible for reviewing daily/monthly Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet
Be responsible for reviewing the Valuation Control execution & documentation, including Independent Price Verification, Fair Value Hierarchy categorisation & Prudent Valuation reporting
Work with Finance, GVG Methodology and Infrastructure teams, and other groups as necessary, to ensure that BofA has a consistent valuations framework that meets requirements, internal and external, providing effective balance sheet control
Provide financial insight and partner with Trading colleagues to optimise business performance.
Coordinating senior management and regulatory business initiatives to ensure we have cross region and cross LOB consistencies
Engage in ad-hoc project work to drive efficiency and enhancement to our routines

What we look for?
Experience working in an international bank / financial institution with an understanding of Global Markets
Experience working with stakeholders globally across a matrix organisation
Bachelor's Degree, in accounting or finance or equivalent experience
Valuation analysis experience, including complex financials product knowledge
Good accounting knowledge, ideally with comfort in both financial accounting and regulatory reporting concepts, with strong attention to detail & emphasis on documentation
Personal integrity and accountability, ability to review, debate and challenge processes
Proactive attention to detail, with strong organisational skills to effectively manage competing deadlines and pro-active management escalation
Advanced Excel skills with experience of Alteryx or Tableau an advantage
Understands and applies knowledge of financial concepts, principles, products, and other relevant financial information
