Role Description:

Bank of America has a Global Markets Tax Operations position supporting US IRW Global Markets across multiple product lines.  The position is ideal for a highly motivated, resourceful, and ambitious individual who enjoys working in a collaborative and fast paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • You will manage US IRW Tax Withholding and Reporting which includes outsourced functions.
  • You will coordinate globally with colleagues.
  • You will answer service tax related client inquiries and escalations particularly for the Prime Brokerage business.
  • You will drive tax initiatives and tax regulatory implementations in partnership with Global Markets Tax Change & Global Markets Technology.

What we are looking for:

  • You will have excellent Chapter 3, 4, 61 and 1099/1042s knowledge.
  • You will be proficient in Microsoft applications, particularly excel.
  • You will have effective reconciliation and problem-solving skills.

Skills that will help:

  • The ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment will be advantageous.
  • Excellent people management skills will be advantageous.
  • Effective organizational & analytical skills will be advantageous. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills will be advantageous. 
  • College degree or comparable work experience will be advantageous.
