Job Description:
The job will involve active participating in deal teams responsible for pitching and executing investment banking transactions, which cut across M&A, and capital markets. Key responsibilities include financial analysis, valuation work, deal process management and preparation of presentations.
Responsibilities:
- Conducts comprehensive company and industry research, preparing presentation materials for clients
- Participates in specific client and deal teams, supporting financial and statistical analyses and structuring and execution activities
- Assists clients with raising funds in the capital markets, as well as providing strategic advisory services for mergers, acquisitions, and other types of financial transactions
- Develops and maintains complex financial models and performs various financial analyses, including valuations and merger consequences
- Supports origination efforts, evaluation of new opportunities, and execution of deals, working on a broad scope of assignments and products across multiple sectors
- Assists in coordinating and executing information in collaboration with product groups
- Assist senior bankers in all aspects of M&A / Corporate Finance transactions, from creating pitch books and marketing materials to conducting in-depth financial analysis.
- Train and mentor junior bankers (Analysts) as they develop core investment banking skill sets.
- Expected to participate in client pitches and attend client meetings.
- Learn from, and work with, teams consisting of professionals drawn from across the business, including senior bankers within your group, experts in other areas of the firm and colleagues from around the globe.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, Law or other relevant area
- Superior financial analysis / financial modelling skills (DCF)
- Detailed oriented with strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Preferably a candidate should have some years of relevant experience in investment banking, valuation, M&A or Corporate Finance experience
- If applicable, experience working at the Associate level within an established investment bank
- Ability to train and develop Analysts
- Excellent in communication and proficient in English; Ability to interact with C-Level Executives
