Job Description:
This job is responsible for providing operational support for securities, loans, exchange traded derivatives and over the counter derivatives across multiple lines of business through the lifecycle of a trade. Key responsibilities include handling trading and operational activities before deadlines, maintaining internal systems and providing operational support to internal partners. Job expectations include maintaining a high degree of accuracy with customers and data to ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
Responsibilities:
Required Skills:
• Ability to manage escalations and solve complex settlement issues
• Solid oral & written communication skills
• Detail oriented & have the ability to meet tight deadlines
• Ability to multitask in a high volume/fast paced environment
• Ability to learn and understand FINRA, SEC and other Regulatory rules
• Able to work as late as 6:00pm as needed
Desired Skills:
• Knowledge of trade lifecycle or stock market
• Strong motivation to succeed
• Understanding of Risk & Control issues
• Ability to independently manage small and medium sized projects
• Strong Excel skills
• 1-2 years related brokerage operations experience
