RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Ensure the systems design and requirements are aligned to achieve the desired business outcomes, and that team practices and coding/quality principles are aligned to achieve the desired technology outcomes.

  • Build significant experience through multiple software implementations.

  • Apply enterprise standards for solution design, coding, and quality.

  • Work with Product Owner to ensure that product backlog/requirements are healthy, with clear acceptance criteria.

  • Ensure solution meets product acceptance criteria with minimal technical debt.

  • Project analysis, architectural design with use case, system, functional and sequential diagrams.

  • Application development using Java/J2EE, Micro Web Services and Big Data processing Technologies.

  • Application back-end Data Base design and data modeling using RDBMS and No SQL design principals.

  • Build deployment artifacts, code reviews, code quality and following project agile methodologies.

  • Utilize Spring, Scala, Kafka, Spark, and Oracle & Cassandra DB Technologies.

  • Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Master's degree or equivalent in Applied Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Engineering (any) or related; and

  • 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation.

  • Must include 3 years of experience in each of the following:

  • Project analysis, architectural design with use case, system, functional and sequential diagrams;

  • Application development using Java/J2EE, Micro Web Services and Big Data processing Technologies;

  • Application back end Data Base design and data modeling using RDBMS and No SQL design principals;

  • Building deployment artifacts, code reviews, code quality and following project agile methodologies; and,

  • Utilizing Spring, Scala, Kafka, Spark, and Oracle & Cassandra DB Technologies
