Job Description:
This job is responsible for analyzing processes, documenting business case opportunities, and implementing process improvement/transformation initiatives in support of Operational Excellence objectives. Key responsibilities include executing on change initiatives which may result in breakthrough cost efficiencies, quality, productivity, and risk mitigation. Job expectations include working with business leaders and subject matter experts, ensuring collaboration and transparency across integrated business and technology teams, and driving execution of solutions within the budget and timeline.

Member of the Enterprise Credit (Commercial) Operational Excellence Team. This role will support Operational Excellence for the Enterprise Credit Commercial (ECC) organization delivering Risk and Operational efficiencies - helping to transform and ensure that the delivery of credit to our Clients is effective, efficient and controlled.

This strong individual contributor will be responsible for working with Commercial Credit process owners to identify inefficiencies, control gaps and design and deploy repeatable, automated solutions. This position will primarily interact with process and control owners, but interactions may extend to technology, project management, GCOR, credit review, audit/compliance, legal, learning, communication partners, as well as senior executives. The ability to influence and lead diverse groups is a key factor to be successful in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Implements moderately complex solutions to address issues and risks, optimize efficiency, reduce variability, and improve controls, quality, and sustainability
  • Works directly with Line of Business partners to gather information needed to identify and implement solutions that resolve critical business challenges and opportunities
  • Establishes and implements a model for continuous process improvement by applying process engineering best practices and delivering reusable technology solutions
  • Leverages analytics and critical thinking to solve complex business problems and translate issues into structured design oriented solutions with clearly defined business case benefits
  • Leads the development of enterprise change management deliverables for material projects including project charters, Suppliers, Inputs, Outputs, and Customers (SIPOC), Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, and Informed (RACI) process maps, risk assessments, control plans, and related artifacts
  • Service Executive Role, responsibilities include ensuring the applicable Enterprise Services Programs are fully implemented, resourced, and governed through maintenance of applicable procedures, SPI processes and business controls
  • Lead working teams through strategic OpEx planning by utilizing a simplification mindset to accurately depict the current Single Process Inventory (SPI) inventory in the Process Owner Portal (POP) and assess gaps against the Process Management Policy, Standard and associated Standards
  • Support SPI connection to the Client Journeys workstream and determine Enterprise Credit role in implementing efficient solutions
  • Interact with all levels of the EC organization from Process Executives, Process and Control Owners, Credit BSEs, and ECATS partners
  • Integrate business best practices and leverage technology to develop and deploy automated/revised solutions. Build action plans to identify pain points/variation and provides recommendations to drive continuous improvement
  • Accountability for engaging the appropriate partners and SMEs to remediate Challenges raised against the Commercial Credit SPI portfolio and to deliver against expected Operational Excellence outcomes and timelines
  • Consult with Enterprise OpEx team in evaluating current methods and developing strategies to implement changes and improvements
  • Evaluate OpEx routines across Enterprise Credit organization, as well as routines with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication exists and feedback is solicited

Required Qualifications:

  • 10 years of process improvement/design and project management experience
  • Understanding of BOA’s Process Management Policy and Standard, Risk Management Framework and Business Controls
  • High proficiency in MS Office suite, especially SharePoint, Excel and pivot tables
  • Exceptional data analytics skills and attention to detail with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable reports for executive audience
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to navigate enterprise, research, and resource information across the bank
  • Ability to work independently – set and manage plans, achieve results
  • Highly organized and able to effectively manage competing priorities and compressed timelines
  • Demonstrated ability to drive action and sustain momentum/results oriented
  • Strong partnership skills – build broad-based business relationships across the organization using influencing skills while demonstrating strong conflict resolution capabilities

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of Commercial lending environment, organizational alignment, strategic priorities
  • Consulting or change management experience

$125,000.00 - $175,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
