Process Overview

Global Banking & Markets division serves mid- to large-sized corporations and institutional clients worldwide. It is comprised of Business Banking, Global Commercial Banking, Global Corporate & Investment Banking, Global Markets and Wholesale Credit. Aligned with these client-facing groups are Global Capital Markets and Global Research.  The Shared Technology Platforms is a portfolio under the GBAMT Strategy, Architecture and Core Platforms portfolio.  The portfolio is responsible for designing, building and maintaining high performing software systems that are used by the Global Banking and Markets Technology employees globally.  These are Technology for Technology tools that cater to varying project management needs including but not limited to forecasting, hiring, resource lifecycle management etc

Job Description

Individual will be responsible to Develop, implement and maintain job schedule for automated ETL processing, error handling, error notification and logging. Should have the ability to run complex queries based on requirements and writing BTEQ scripts. Hands on experience in identifying the bottleneck and fixing the performance issues. Experience in full development lifecycle within Agile environment and ability to work with others in a strong team environment.

Responsibilities

·        Responsible to develop/modify Teradata BTEQ scripts & informatica mappings.

·        Responsible to create a new tables/modify existing table structure in Teradata.

·        Responsible to develop test cases and perform unit testing.

·        Must be able to interact and co-ordinate with distributed APS & Testing teams.

·        Participate in Scrum ceremonies to include daily stand-up meetings, backlog grooming, product demos, and retrospectives. 

·        Written and verbal communication skills are very important to ensure all team members are aware of roadblocks and development progress.

Requirements

Education: Graduation or post-graduation (BE, B Tech, MCA)

Certifications if any: Teradata & Informatica

Experience Range: 9 -12 years

Foundational skills

Informatica ETL experience with Teradata and UNIX background

Strong Teradata experience with UNIX background.

Experience with Informatica development. Experience in Teradata utilities.

Strong Unix experience in writing shell scripts.

Financial domain experience is must.

Desired skills Unix experience in writing shell scripts

Work Timings: 11:30 am to 8.30 PM
