This job is responsible for planning and coordinating the execution of project/small program deliverables which requires the engagement of multiple teams. Key responsibilities include communicating work objectives, coordinating delivery, facilitating sync points across teams, providing end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverables, and managing program risk and compliance to standards. Job expectations include ensuring delivery meets the client’s expectations in terms of the functionality, quality, timeline, and cost.

We are the GCIB Technology group serving the technology needs of the Global Corporate Investment Banking team in Bank of America. We are looking for a Delivery Lead dedicated to Capital Markets Technology initiatives and projects is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivery of defined deliverables which usually requires engagement from multiple teams such as a project or smaller program. Key responsibilities include communicating the work objectives, coordinating delivery, managing risks, ensuring compliance to standards, and providing end to end visibility into the health of the deliverables. This role ensures execution and delivery meets the client’s expectations in terms of the functionality, quality, timeline, and cost. They facilitate sync points across multiple organizations to enable delivery.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and facilitate routines to support delivery (for example, kick offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, tollgates)
  • Plan and coordinate delivery and dependencies across multiple teams
  • Facilitate dependency management/risk management /impediment removal for the defined deliverables
  • Promote/facilitate communication and collaboration across organizations to support the deliverable completion and timeline
  • Gather/facilitate status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks/issues, and schedule
  • Ensure that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements by working with the sponsor/stakeholders
  • Ensure deliverables comply with Enterprise Change Management standards
  • Contributes to artifacts needed for governance forums
  • Understands stakeholder expectations and creates regular updates to keep stakeholders informed
  • Answer teams Agile/waterfall framework questions

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years BA experience at a leading financial services organization
  • Knowledge and experience of Capital Markets/ New Issue/ Primary Markets
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and strategic thinking ability; ability to troubleshoot production issues and get them resolved quickly by the appropriate support team
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills; ability to get a point across quickly and concisely is important
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, ability to prioritize effectively and handle responsibilities for multiple projects / support issues concurrently
  • Works in partnership with the team to ensure that optimum value is obtained through technology and through an advanced understanding of the business
  • Agile skills in planning ceremonies against backlog/prioritized work
  • Manage risk/dependencies/impediments for one team
