Process Overview*
The Team is responsible for managing production reports for the Consumer and Small Business Card portfolios as well as developing new reporting that leverages the latest BI Tools, including Micro Strategy and Tableau. The team responds to numerous business inquiries and provides reporting and analytics to support payment, acquisition, and affinity.
Analysts work closely with their business partners to capture requirements and then create the report design utilizing tools such as SAS or Teradata SQL to prepare the ETL, develop the code and test the report before moving it into production.
The team leverages a best-in-class web-based tool that supports the report development process by automating the workflow, tracking progress, and sending notifications to the Line of Business to keep them informed of progress. The tool also stores critical process documentation, including desktops and metadata.

The analyst will be responsible for end-to-end report development across various lines of business. This position requires a strong command of various data mining and advanced analytical techniques to produce user friendly analytical and reporting solutions
Responsibilities*
Work with business partners of various management levels across a broad spectrum of areas to translate high level business requirements into technical data requirements
Develop efficient queries using SQL query language
Complete validation routines to ensure accuracy prior to publishing or automating reports
Document and share results on the report build (track feedback and requirements through development, user acceptance testing and production)
Leverage Tableau or Micro Strategy to build reports, dashboards, and visualizations that align to the business case requirements
Resolve production issues and conduct data exploration as business requirements change and communicate resolution timelines to impacted business partners
Process Documentation to track all reports (development workflow, desktop, metadata and metrics)
