Job Description:

Manages diverse administrative functions, usually for a very large, complex department or business unit. Functions managed may include: financial control/budgeting and consolidation, personnel processes, audit/compliance, premises, and coordination of certain projects, associate training, service quality, process improvement, business continuity, or communication; may consult with senior management to define and manage projects that encompass and impact many associates.

Requires a thorough knowledge of the department or business unit's functional area or products; working knowledge of general bank policies, programs and procedures and financial/accounting practices; may have full management responsibility over a team or may manage one level of managers.

This role will manage controls, processes and routines related to Global Information Security (GIS) policies in support of the Enterprise Credit (Commercial) organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage information security processes, routines and controls
  • Represent organization on various forums and meetings
  • Serve as subject matter expert on various Information Security policies to ensure compliance with requirements 
  • Oversee performance on GIS Dashboard; investigate out of control metrics and recommend actions needed to remediate
  • Partner with key contacts inside and outside the organization as needed
  • Ensures required processes and controls are well documented and that required evidence is stored appropriately
  • Act as a true process owner; evolve and simplify processes where possible

Required Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience
  • Experience managing and analyzing large datasets
  • Flexible, self-starter and problem solver capable of working through ambiguity
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to build relationships across multiple business and/or business partners
  • Critical thinker capable of asking “why"
  • Strong team player. Proven effectiveness in fast-paced, demanding, client-driven environment
  • Effective verbal and written communication skill

Desired Qualifications:

  • Information Security/management background
  • Working knowledge of internal Global Information Security/access management protocols
  • Knowledge of systems and processes a plus (ARM, ART, BRE & POP)
  • Bachelors Degree preferred or equivalent experience

New York pay and benefits information

New York pay range:

$80,000 - $105,700 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible
