Job Description:
This job is responsible for overseeing a unit or section of a segment for a site, region, or product line within the bank's internal operations. Key responsibilities include identifying, analyzing, and resolving complex problems, ensuring compliance with policies, and identifying opportunities to improve process performance and operating efficiency. Job expectations include knowledge of operations support management and expertise in functional area(s) gained through increasingly more responsible management positions in operations.

The GM (NFRR) team is responsible for the consistent application of interpretation, data sourcing, preparation, governance and oversight of Global Markets regulatory reports – with the overall goal of centralizing and standardizing regulatory reporting across Global Market Operations.
The Product management function is part of the NFRR team and by partnering with functional stakeholders and technology groups we prioritize and manage change driven by business, legal, regulatory, compliance or market requirements. The function is seeking to recruit associates into a growing team to support the Non-Financial Regulatory Reporting (NFRR) Change program across global regions.

Responsibilities:
• Help deliver a comprehensive product strategy across multiple reporting platforms
• Analyze new and existing regulations against firm practices, assess current state of reports for improvement
• Establish an intake process for new regulations, data incidents, and system fixes
• Establish a robust prioritization model for report automation, product enhancement and data quality upgrades
• Implement effective routines to ensure business requirements are understood, tracked and documented, whilst holding key business and technology partners accountable
• Establish comprehensive, data-informed, and long-term strategy for enhancing reporting platforms and report automation in the portfolio with fully developed tools for maintaining or altering the strategy
• Communicate with a broad audience of business and technology partners in a variety of formats and in a way that ensures all audience members understand and can adhere to the strategy
• You will plan and organize projects using tools and techniques, including Technology platforms used by client facing employees, change management tools, and risk and issue management tools to ensure efficient and effective project completion.
• You will navigate across various Lines of Business and partner organizations, including Technology and Risk, leading them to negotiate decision making for efficient and effective resolution.
• You will be required to communicate across all levels of seniority, providing relevant updates both verbally & through concise metrics & materials
 


Additional Responsibilities:

  • Develops and implements procedures to enhance productivity and efficiency and manage business change
  • Serves as an escalation point to resolve broad and complex operational issues
  • Responsible for expense management, reporting and forecasting for operations areas managed as well as compensation decisioning, talent planning, and performance management at a senior level
  • Manages a large team or multiple smaller teams across one or more sites, regions or product lines in an operations support function
  • Supports functions carrying a substantial risk of exposure and potential loss with significant impact on major corporate customer relationships

Required Skills:

• Global Markets Operations Project Management experience
• Process design/migration experience
• Solid understanding of Global Markets

Desired Skills:

• Global Banking / Markets Operations experience – ideally with knowledge of NFRR or similar regulatory mandates would be advantageous.
• Proficiency in process design / mapping would be advantageous.
• Understanding of process migration
• Showing the ability to continually learn and serve our clients better would be an advantage.
• Commitment to challenging the status quo and promoting positive change, utilizing new thoughts and ideas would be an advantage.
• Audit/GIS experience, working in a team environment

$107,700 - $200,000 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
