Location Overview:

We are an International regional team and responsible for legal entity data oversight and governance. They will provide regional/legal entity guidance and governance and provide process expertise and consulting. The Business Control Manager is an exciting opportunity to serve as primary point-of-contact for legal entity data controls and operational excellence and maintaining oversight of international data activities.

Role Description:

Collaborating with enterprise and regional stakeholders across Front Line Unit/Control Function/Legal Entities Compliance and Audit. Your role offers engagement and visibility with executives and requires the ability the communicate succinctly and develop a deep understanding of data management, data processes and regulation. This role offers experience in a critical, high impact, and evolving area of the Enterprise.

Responsibilities:

  • Implementing and maintaining the International Data controls and supervision using the firm’s tools
  • Partnering across broader Enterprise Data, Technology and Front-Line Unit/Control Function teams to oversee/ensure consistent engagement, communication and problem solving.
  • Thinking critically to evolve and enhance the data governance framework.
  • Leading regional projects involving oversight and/or controls for the International Data Function
  • Developing controls to oversee data quality remediation delivery.
  • Engaging and providing guidance to Front Line Unit/Control Function/Legal Entities

What we are looking for:

  • Excellent communication skills to succinctly deliver messaging to senior level audiences, to guide and influence stakeholders across Front Line Unit/Control Function/Legal Entities
  • Validated ability in stakeholder management.
  • Demonstrates a keen process mindset to drive process excellence.
  • Experience in working on cross functional projects.
  • Extensive experience in Data Governance/Risk/Controls and Governance experience would be desirable.
  • Validated ability to develop written materials (decks, briefing materials) used to organize and clearly communicate and memorialize key messages to stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
