Location Overview:

The Team:

The Data Policy Manager will serve as primary point-of-contact for legal entity data governance and assist with the key regional data governance strategy and priorities. We are an International regional team and responsible for legal entity data oversight and governance. They will provide regional/legal entity leadership, governance and oversee adherence to data related policy and regulatory principles. They will navigate collaborating with enterprise and regional stakeholders across FLU/CF, Compliance and Audit.

Role Description:

The role offers engagement and visibility with executives and requires the ability the communicate succinctly and develop a deep understanding of data management, data expertise and regulation. This role offers experience in a critical, high impact, and evolving area of the Enterprise. Exceptional stakeholder management skills are essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Partnering across broader Enterprise Data, Technology and FLU/CF teams to oversee/ensure consistent engagement, communication and problem solving that drive adherence to the Enterprise data related policies.
  • Thinking critically to evolve and enhance the data governance framework.
  • Oversee data quality risk within the legal entities in the international region.
  • Analysis of key data related metrics and oversee data quality related remediation.
  • Solving problems and executing on key deliverables such as issues management, managing regulatory interaction on data, Board training materials and applying subject matter expertise and technical knowledge
  • Engaging and providing guidance to FLU/CF/LEs

What we are looking for:

  • Excellent communication skills to succinctly deliver messaging to senior level audiences, to guide and influence stakeholders across FLU/CF’s. Experience in regulatory interaction would be desirable.
  • Validated ability in stakeholder management and working with senior management stakeholders.
  • Experience in working on cross functional projects.
  • Extensive experience in Data Governance/Risk/Controls and Governance experience would be desirable.
  • Proven ability to develop written materials (decks, briefing materials) used to organize and clearly communicate and memorialize key messages to stakeholders; metrics/scorecard development.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks to meet tight deadlines.
