Role Description:
As a Pre -Assessment Coordinator, You’ll Play a vital role in our Cybersecurity Assurance Program. Your mission? Safeguarding our applications from potential threats. In this role you’ll work closely with our pentesting team to plan and coordinate penetration tests. You will act as a liaison between the pentesting team and the client keeping all parties informed about the process, expectations and any findings.
Responsibilities:
Ability to scope any application for any type of ADSF assessment.
• Work closely with application managers and risk partners to gather information necessary for application security assessments for the purposes of scheduling, engaging, follow-up and escalation.
• Data gathering of application requirements (scope approx. 500+) follow up, escalation if required to Team Manager and other Leadership contacts.
• Gathering pre-requisite information, validating the information, facilitating demos of applications in scope for application security assessments with application Managers, and Application Assessor and working with the application team to get the assessors access provisioned.
• Attend and provide bi-weekly status updates to team (management routines). Managing of requests for new assessments (ad-hoc request for application assessments across the enterprise).
• Management of projects related to larger engagements (multiple, simultaneous assessments of application groups)
• Work with line of business partners, information security officers and others to understand technically the business needs as well as addressing any concerns.
What we are looking for:
• Experience in Information Security (application assessments) and a foundational background in IT.
• Be able to communicate and explain technical concepts to Technical and Non-Technical business and application owners.
• Possess and Executive presence with both internal and external stakeholders. Ability to communicate professionally over mail and by phone.
• Excellent project management skills, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Organisation skills and attention to detail and accuracy with dedicate to superior service.
• Advanced knowledge of MS office applications including Excel, Power Point Access Outlook SharePoint, and Work.
• An excellent presence with both internal and external stakeholders. Exceptional analytical and critical thinking abilities.
• Ability to think strategically and execute against a strategic plan.
•Professionalism, dependability integrity and trustworthiness combined with a cooperative attitude.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic team environment.
• Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to multitask and complete assignments with time constraints and deadlines, Individual with desire to learn and teach others.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT. Analytica skills, problem solving/conceptual thinking. Can work with technical and non-technical business owners.
Skills that will help:
• One or more of the following certifications(desirable): CISSP, CJEH, OSCP or qualified work experience
• Extensive experience and very detailed technical knowledge in at least 3 of the following areas: general information security; security engineering; application architecture; authentication and security protocols; applications session management; applied cryptography; common communication protocols; mobile frameworks; single sign-on technologies; exploit automation platforms; RESTful web services.
