Job Description:
 

The Taiwan Fixed Income team is looking for an Associate/VP Sales in Taipei or Hong Kong to support and cover institutional and corporate clients. This role will also work closely with the broader APAC FICC franchise.

This role requires an understanding of FICC markets. Candidates will be expected to have experience in analyzing complex situations, and be capable of critical thinking in a time sensitive manner. Based in Taiwan or Hong Kong , working within a busy and dynamic team, this role requires a capable individual help drive growth across the function.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducts financial analysis and prepares support documentation for client presentations
  • Assist in the marketing and distribution of FICC products to assigned account base with limited direction from senior associates
  • Studies market relationships and current market conditions to increase account/market penetration
  • Supports the strategy to build effective client relationships and provide customized products and services to clients
  • Participates in due diligence sessions, while communicating and interacting with deal team members
  • Assists with sales, trading, and hedging activities and documents key findings for the team
  • Providing flows colour on the desk as well as offering sales advice
  • Generating ideas and communicating them to the client base to maximize client commissions

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in Business or Finance
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant  sales experience in the financial industry, covering institutional and corporate clients
  • Strong communication skills and stakeholder management
  • Good understanding of the global FICC business and market landscape
  • Independent thinker and willing to learn from a bench of experienced sales people
  • Strong analytical skills and confident to take on a client facing role
