Job Description:
Executes assigned audit activities with guidance from the Auditor in Charge and/or senior associates. Utilizes analytical skills and product/technical expertise necessary to execute assigned responsibilities. Actively contributes and questions during team audit activities including planning and scoping process understanding, risk assessment and testing for assigned areas of responsibility. Identifies control deficiencies, discusses with line management, and initiates control matter recommendations in assigned test areas. Understands and communicates connection of audit findings to broad strategic business objectives. Early stage of development of expertise (product line, technology, etc). Exposed to multiple LOBs to develop understanding of Bank and deepen business acumen. Industry knowledge and awareness, challenges the status quo. Promotes team work and shares experience.
Responsibilities:
To execute audit activities and audit testing according to the instructions given by the auditor in-charge, to follow audit test steps to document his/her audit work.
To interact with business lines, control, and governance groups in order to gain understanding of business processes and controls.
To fully comply with corporate standards and regulatory requirements.
Required skills:
English proficiency, professional career on economics, accounting, finance, math, or actuarial sciences; knowledge of financial industry and financial instruments, teamwork and outstanding communication skills.
Desired skills (not a must):
Audit experience, knowledge of Mexican financial regulation, global markets and AML knowledge.
