Role Description:

This is a great opportunity to join our Academy Team during a period of growth.  As Academy Facilitator, you will have responsibility for facilitating Academy learning programmes both virtually and in the classroom, as well as classroom outreach, oversight, and logistics.  In this varied role, you will use your experience in Facilitation or Learning and Development to:

  • Deliver engaging learning content across multiple business units,
  • Review and evaluate learning content,
  • Support your teammates by acting as a continuous improvement coach, evaluating the quality and content of their facilitations.

The role requires face to face facilitation in locations throughout the EMEA Region and sometimes Globally. This means there will be exciting opportunities for international travel. On occasion you may also need to support your global teammates with virtual facilitation, meaning there could be a requirement for you to work non-traditional hours for that period.

Responsibilities:

  • Participates in the content annual review cycle, while partnering with Academy content design teammates to identify content, curriculum, and/or program issues and provide recommendations,
  • Provides classroom outreach, coordination, oversight, logistics, and communications to enhance the overall Academy experience for participants,
  • Supports employees across multiple lines of business with learning and development solutions and ensures learning materials are in line with the bank's learning objectives and guidelines,
  • Facilitates core and/or upskill Academy programs and professional skills, virtually or in a classroom,
  • Evaluates modes of training delivery, optimizing effectiveness and learning, and manages the logistics of delivering learning programs including communications, scheduling, finalization of course material, etc.
  • Reviews role play scenarios and work/case studies for learners, determining effective learning solutions for employees across the bank.

Skills we look for:

  • Experience in Learning Delivery,
  • Learning design, development, and maintenance,
  • Solid understanding and working knowledge of Facilitation or Adult Learning Theory,
  • Business Acumen (Global Operations, Global Technology, International, Corporate Support Functions, Corporate Functions)
  • Clear and confident oral communication,
  • Ability to drive employee performance improvement,
  • Excellent written communication,
  • Seasoned influencing skills,
  • Skillful coaching and feedback delivery,
  • Experience in building and nurturing business relationships at all levels,
  • Time management capability, with the ability to flex your schedule to suit business needs,
  • High level of MS Office skills – Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
  • Project Management skillset, with the ability to organise and handle multiple tasks.

Skills that would help:

  • Experience in evaluating the success of learning programmes,
  • Experience in the design and development of Learning Content,
  • Working knowledge of international learning programmes within a matrix organisation.
