Job Description:
This job is responsible for analyzing processes, documenting business case opportunities, and implementing process improvement/transformation initiatives in support of Operational Excellence objectives. Key responsibilities include executing on change initiatives which may result in breakthrough cost efficiencies, quality, productivity, and risk mitigation. Job expectations include working with business leaders and subject matter experts, ensuring collaboration and transparency across integrated business and technology teams, and driving execution of solutions within the budget and timeline.

Become a member of the team transforming the way Bank of America delivers commercial credit. This role is part of the Enterprise Credit Analytics and Transformation Strategy (ECATS) team with a focus on designing credit processes and platforms to enable onboarding to target state platforms and tools. The Process Design Consultant partners with business subject matter experts, Product Owners/Managers, Change Management, and Technology to perform current state assessments, business requirements gathering, and target state design.

This job is responsible for digital adoption of new technology in Enterprise Credit.


Responsibilities:
• Implements moderately complex solutions to address issues and risks, optimize efficiency, reduce variability, and improve controls, quality, and sustainability
• Works directly with Line of Business partners to gather information needed to identify and implement solutions that resolve critical business challenges and opportunities
• Establishes and implements a model for continuous process improvement by applying process engineering best practices and delivering reusable technology solutions
• Leverages analytics and critical thinking to solve complex business problems and translate issues into structured design-oriented solutions with clearly defined business case benefits 
• Leads the development of enterprise change management deliverables for material projects including project charters, Suppliers, Inputs, Outputs, and Customers (SIPOC), Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, and Informed (RACI) process maps, risk assessments, control plans, and related artifacts
• Define and implment a strategic vision for target state platforms across Enterprise Credit
• Candidate will leverage knowledge of underwriting & fulfillment processes to improve the deal lifecycle from credit request through booking including any associated adjustments post approval and booking. 
• Candidate will either have or gain proficiency with regulatory and policy requirements within the end to end underwriting process
• Candidate will either have or gain proficiency with current state underwriting, monitoring, and fulfillment applications.
• Candidate will be required to interact with key program stakeholders such as the platform and process design teams, technology and change management to facilitate solutions and immediate remedies to any constraints discovered during deployment
• Leads the training strategy and conent delivery for business adoption of new technology 
• Interacts with key program stakeholders such as platform and process design teams to facilitate solutions and remedies to any risks/issues identified during platform deployment 
• Partners with Technology to plan, implement, and deploy business strategies, while prioritizing the bank's long and short-term goals
• Defines the strategic vision for key user experience functionalities, identifying administrative modifications and opportunities to streamline data entry processes
• Drives innovation and improves platforms used by bank employees and support organizations to maximize system stability, while minimizing user disruption

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Financial Services Industry
• Experience in a Credit, Credit Operations, Transformation / Strategy, or Process Design role
• Ability to build strategic end-to-end plans for platforms
• Ability to create and maintain partnerships with multiple stakeholders
• Strong written and oral communications skills
• Ability to communicate vertically and horizontally and to distill complex subject matter into concise summaries and recommendations
• Candidate must be detail oriented and demonstrate a high regard for operational excellence
• Candidate must be highly organized with excellent analytical and reporting skills with the ability to create and execute project plans
• Proficient in Excel analytics, PowerPoint and Visio

• Create role based training content, exercises and case studies for line of business users migrating to the CreditCenter platform  
• Candidate will leverage knowledge of underwriting, monitoring and  fulfillment processes to support and assist new and existing users to learn the new platform 
• Candidate will either have or gain proficiency within the CreditCenter application


Desired Qualifications:

• 8+ years experience in Financial Services Industry

• Interest in learning new platforms and technologies
• Familiarity with Agile software development process
• Problem solver; ability to think critically and offer creative solutions
• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn technical specs
• Self-starter who is comfortable operating independently in an ambiguous environment
• Strong organizational skills with ability to effectively prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment
