Job Description:


This job is responsible for:

  • Conduct independent transactional, activity and risk-based testing to identify gaps and/or key risks and effectiveness of Front-Line Unit (FLU) processes and controls to ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
  • The individuals in this role are responsible for accurate and timely test development and execution and/or supporting operational and administrative activities related to the end-to-end test execution process across the International teams (APAC, EMEA, LatAm). 
  • This role may act as a test lead/SME and support development of entry level testers. 
  • Accountable for quality testing execution, reporting and analysis of results.
  • This position can be based in either Brazil, Mexico or UK (Chester).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily responsibilities include execution of test scripts, identifying and documenting defects and associated risks in support of coverage needs identified by Compliance and Operational Risk officers and/or Front-Line Unit process owners.
  • Interacts extensively with internal or external contacts to identify, research, analyse and resolve complex problems
  • Collaborates with Compliance and Operational Risk officers and/or Front-Line Unit process owners on the identification of themes and trends at the Front-Line Unit, control function and enterprise level.
  • Manages the quality of the end-to-end execution process in accordance with the Independent Testing Enterprise Policy and Standard
  • Supports the test development process

Skills:

  • Minimum 2 + years work experience in the financial services industry, specifically Global Markets and/or Global Banking business with knowledge of the LATAM markets and business.
  • Fluent in Portuguese and English
  • Ability to learn complex subject matter, understand regulatory requirements, and conduct risk-based testing to ensure compliance and mitigate risks
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Business Writing Acumen
  • Operational Excellence- demonstrate a quantitative mind, natural curiosity, a desire to challenge the status quo while searching for gaps and attention to detail are key requirements
  • Strong Critical Thinking and effective communication skills
