Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to Head of China CBK and a number of Corporate Banking bankers
  • Organize internal and external meetings, events and business travels
  • Process Travel & Entertainment bookings and reimbursement process
  • Manage multiple projects as required
  • Follow up with bankers timely on deliverables
  • Maintain and update record database of various items and correspondence
  • Provide regular updates to management and sanitizing data for specific requirements
  • Back up other assistants in the office when they are on leave or sick

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience in a role supporting a team of managers; banking experience is highly preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, and ability to engage productively with senior management
  • Ability to work collaboratively to tight deadlines with minimum direct supervision and the flexibility to work extended hours when required
  • Ability to work independently with a proactive approach to taking on a broad range of responsibilities; take initiative and to participate as a team player
  • Ability to handle situations and clients professionally and with a high level of diplomacy
  • Team player, proactive, good attitude, energetic & hard working
  • Proficient in English and Chinese

Systems Skill:

  • Proficient in all MS applications including Advanced PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Experience with basic desktop publishing applications would be preferred
