Process Overview

The Process Management CoE GBS team functions as a Center of Excellence to provide strategic and innovative advantage to Bank of America through Process Design, Data Insights and Process Excellence Work-streams.


Job Description

As a part of the team, the candidate will be responsible to analyze SPI process information on ARIS/POP to help streamline, automate and implement solutions to drive process efficiency and controls across MTM. The candidate will also be responsible to create automation using Python, extract and wrangle with various data sources, perform ETL tasks, prepare data for analysis and mining purposes and develop solutions to help GRM processes. This role will include tasks such as writing Python scripts, working on Alteryx and automation of workflows.

Responsibilities:

The KRAs of the resource will be as follows:

  • As a part of the team, analyze SPI process information on ARIS/POP to help streamline, automate and implement solutions to drive process efficiency and controls across MTM
  • Write Python scripts for automating workflows between various data sources, Alteryx, Web interfaces.
  • Design, develop, validate, and troubleshoot the ETL workflows and datasets in Alteryx for analysis, forecasting, and report delivery.
  • Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements, automate manual processes, optimizing data delivery process, re-design infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.
  • Develop visualization tools and dashboards to capture key risks for crisis management
  • Develop clean and reusable code that can be easily maintained and scaled.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex problems.
  • Debug codes when required and troubleshooting any Python-related queries.
  • Keep up to date with emerging trends and technologies in Python development.
  • Tracks and monitors the success of recently implemented tools, reports, dashboards and process enhancements

Requirements

  • Education : Bachelors or Masters Degree
  • Exp Range : 7- 9 years
  • Foundational Skills :
  • Work experience and background in Process design, data science, automation, analytics, digital transformation, and while not required, experience in or interest in Risk Management
  • Understanding of off the shelf low code no code applications
  • Experience with Alteryx, Certification preferred.
  • Python Automation, Web Scraping, OCR, Text mining, Alteryx, ETL
  • Good experience & strong knowledge in Python programming with Object Oriented Programming methodologies 
  • Automation Framework Development in Python
  • Hands-on with Python modules Scrapy, Beautiful soup, Regex, & NLTK.
