Job Description:
The Product and Strategy Executive is responsible for identifying and managing strategic initiatives designed to support and enhance the positioning of a line of business. Oversees Client and Business Management functions, Strategic Planning, Product Development, Technology initiatives and the Centralized Service Platform. Serves as a liaison to other partners in the bank, including marketing, finance and compliance, in order to drive and implement initiatives. Establishes and maintains performance measures and metrics to ensure execution of business plan. Captures and analyses client data to drive innovative of new wealth management solutions. Ensures that operations are consistent in supporting the client strategy and the broader business strategy.

Reporting to the Head of Asset Manager Relationships within Investment Products /Investment Solutions Group, Senior Relationship Manager will be responsible for cultivating strong and productive relationships with third party alternative investment managers to progress strategic priorities for the Global Wealth & Investment Management (GWIM) businesses. The role will be instrumental in working across the different channels within Bank of America, particularly GWIM, Consumer Banking, Global Banking and Global Markets to coordinate activities and broaden strategic relationships

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure strong strategic alignment and connectivity with our top investment partners
  • Facilitate and strengthen internal senior relationship with senior executives from our asset manager partners
  • Align internal and external messaging to ensure our third party asset managers are reinforcing consistent messages with Advisors and clients
  • Promote and enforce GWIM policies and procedures to ensure that asset managers are following GWIM rules
  • Work closely with Product, Specialist organization & CIO team on ongoing launches, searches and initiatives
  • Drive field training and education initiatives at divisional and market levels by aligning the resources of asset managers to our needs/ coordinating funding for training and charitable contributions
  • Lead and implement cross-manager initiatives with the goal of leveraging external specialists to progress GWIM priorities and drive growth
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to support campaigns and initiatives

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in financial services industry
  • Ability to manage multiple senior level relationships inside and outside the firm
  • Prior experience working with asset managers
  • Broad knowledge of wealth management business
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and management skills
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks & initiatives
  • Think strategically and be able to influence key stakeholders
  • Attention to detail, ability to effectively follow up and resolve issues in a timely fashion
  • Ability and willingness for some travel
  • Series 7 and 66 required (or ability to obtain within 120 days after start date)

New York pay range:

$161,500 - $374,000 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible
