Job Description:

Responsible for leading and managing a team of Underwriters and Credit Officers dedicated to underwriting, structuring, advising, and negotiating credit solutions for Middle Market and Business Banking clients.  Role will be domiciled in Newport Beach, CA or San Diego, CA.  Client base is located throughout the Orange County, San Diego, and Inland Empire areas.  The Commercial Credit Manager will partner closely with sales and risk management colleagues to deliver balanced (risk versus reward) and market relevant client solutions that lead to long term client satisfaction, competitive advantage, and market share growth.  Key areas of accountability include market level loan and commercial credit revenue growth; strong asset quality; ensuring that credit approvals meet Bank policies and procedures; and that work quality is accurate and risk focused.

Required Skills:

• 15+ years of Commercial Banking Credit Experience

•  3+ years’ experience managing a credit team preferred

•  Outstanding communication and influence management skills

•  Ability to lead and model change while achieving business performance results

• The ability to mentor, develop and coach will be key attributes

Minimum Education Requirement: Bachelor's Degree required with and Advanced Degree Preferred

California pay range:

$139,500 - $225,000 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible
