What you can expect
The APAC Global Banking & Markets Anti-Money Laundering Operations (APAC GB & GM AML Ops) organization is a central control function which governs, facilitates, and oversees the APAC end-to-end AML program across all GB and GM businesses and jurisdictions through implementation of processes and controls to effectively manage AML and economic sanctions risks. This candidate will engage in management and oversight of Audit & Exam engagement & issues specific to the APAC region. Additionally, the candidate will have responsibility in Regulatory data reporting. The candidate should have a strong risk management discipline and experience running operational risk processes.
What you will do
Assist in the execution of internal control discipline and operational excellence within Loan, Lease and Trade Operations. Execute LOB/ECF specific processes and tools to drive adherence to enterprise-wide Standards such as Identity and Access Management (IAM). Support implementation of QA/QC processes through the ongoing monitoring and testing of controls, Issue Management, Compliance and Reg adherence, Operational Event reporting and Audit, Regulatory, Exam coordination and support.
Acts as an ambassador of the risk culture. Identify issues and/or control improvements for remediation, whilst assisting in building out actions plans and milestones. Incumbents typically have over 8+ years of risk management and LOB/ECF experience. Role is responsible for management of risk governance routines including:

• Issue management and remediation
• Business Continuity planning and preparedness
• Internal audits, external exams, and other compliance and operational risk assessments
• Process Risk and Control (PRC) inventory
• Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA)
• Internal & External Operational Event reporting and oversight
• Delegation of Authority (DOA) controls and governance
• Global Records Management and procedures governance
• Key Risk Indicators (KRI) reporting
• May be tasked to support high-priority industry and regulatory initiatives.
