Job Description:

The Structuring, Origination and UHNW Solutions team (“the Team") is cross-asset structured products unit responsible for originating, structuring, positioning and executing transactions for both retail and Ultra High Net Worth clients based across the Americas. Focus on over-the-counter and securitized cross-asset products with embedded vanilla or light-exotic optionality on equity, commodities, currencies, interest rates and hybrid underlying assets.

As part of their responsibilities, professionals on the Team develop research-driven strategic and tactical trading ideas; interact with Financial Advisors to provide advice on portfolio hedging and positioning based on client's objectives and risk tolerance; and engage in the structuring, origination, positioning and execution of OTC derivatives and fully funded transactions across all the asset classes.

The ideal candidate will have strong OTC Equity Derivatives background with at least partial cross-asset derivatives skills and a minimum of 5 years of prior experience working in both client coverage and OTC derivatives capacity, with strong focus on and Hedging & Monetization preferably.

The successful candidate will be a well-rounded individual who possesses strong quantitative, analytical and communication skills. This person will be responsible for all aspects of the origination and marketing of the previously mentioned products; including preparing term sheets, ideas/marketing materials and presentations; pricing derivatives and executing transactions. The candidate will be extremely organized and motivated, and should have a general knowledge of global economies, macro topics and financial markets

  • Main focus is to facilitate the origination, marketing, pricing, positioning and execution of Equity OTC products, with focus on Hedging & Monetization and other single stock risk management solutions
  • Partial focus in facilitating the origination, marketing, pricing, positioning and execution of other OTC derivatives across different asset classes as well as Market-Linked Investments (Structured Notes).
  • Interact with specialists, financial advisors, trading and structurers on a daily basis to relay market color, research, and trading related information
  • Identify research-driven trading ideas and market opportunities to drive business
  • Liaise and interact with traders to facilitate transactions and provide competitive pricing for clients
  • Conduct marketing presentations in front of large audiences
  • Assist in the on-boarding process of clients
  • Liaise with senior management and members of legal, compliance, trading and research
  • Proactively develop and maintain relationships with financial advisors and clients

Job Requirements:

  • At least 8 to 10 years of relevant work and analytical experience in the areas described above
  • Multi-tasking and ability to work under pressure
  • Strong marketing and presentation skills
  • Ability to work as a team player in a dynamic, fast-paced and collaborative work environment
  • FINRA registered representative with Series 7 and 66 (or 63/65) required at time of hire
  • Strongly prefer candidates with 79 license, or willing to obtain after hire.
  • MS, MBA and/or CFA are desirable but not necessary
  • Excellent Bloomberg and  MS Office skills
  • Very Strong quantitative, analytical and communication skills

New York pay and benefits information

New York pay range:

$175,500 - $277,700 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
