Job Description

The Client Assets Control Group’s primary objective in APAC is to ensure compliance with the Client Asset rules within the various APAC jurisdictions. The Associate will form a key part of the team which provides oversight of Client Asset protection front to back across the organization. 

Responsibilities

This is an opportunity within the APAC Client Assets Control Group (CACG), within Global Markets Operations. CACG are a global team which provide oversight of BofA’s customer protection regulatory requirements. This role also supports the wider Global CACG team, and involves liaising with counterparts in both EMEA and AMRS due to the legal entity affiliate structure of BofA.

Required Skills

  • Knowledge of regulations, or operational control processes pertaining to the protection of Client Money / Assets would be beneficial but is not essential

  • This role would be suitable for an individual with experience in a Risk function, or an operations line function with experience of risk, regulation and/or control
  • Knowledge of the products that give rise to client money and assets and the associated operational processes (beneficial but not essential)
  • Experience in working with internal stakeholders such as Operations line teams, Compliance, Legal, Finance
  • Good interpersonal skills and partners well with others, is a team-player
  • Good organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Good verbal and written communication of complex issues
