The Team:

You will be joining an established global team of 50+ working alongside Technology, Data and Model Audit teams to execute audit work.  We have a large focus on training and development both in house and via ACAMs. 

Role Description:

Due to expansion we are looking for an Audit Manager specialising in Anti-Money Laundering.  You will oversee and execute your assigned areas of audit work, providing day to day coaching and guidance to your teammates. Demonstrating strategic thinking, you will execute audit strategy for the sound application of risk based auditing by defining audit scope, audit program, and test procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • You will plan, perform, and lead BSA/AML Compliance and Fraud audits at the enterprise level as well as other diverse lines of business and specialty areas.

  • Subject matter expertise in US financial crime regulations including the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering, Sanctions (e.g., OFAC)

  • You will support the execution of the annual BSA independent audit as well as regulatory and partner exams by creating presentation materials and providing timely responses to inquiries.

  • Manage staff during audit engagements and provide feedback on work performed.

  • Design and perform compliance audit procedures, including identifying and defining issues, reviewing and analyzing evidence, and documenting processes.

  • Leverage available data and analytical tools during the planning, fieldwork, and reporting phases of audit delivery.

  • Communicate the results of audit projects to management (written reports/oral presentations).

  • You will establish and build working relationships with internal and external management.

  • Perform AML risk assessments of business activities, potential risks exposures, and materiality of loss; and

  • Effective influence skills in communicating findings. You will be an articulate and effective communicator, both verbally and in writing.

  • Good communication skills for interfacing with all levels of internal and external audit and management.

What we are looking for:

  • Demonstrable audit experience in areas related to BSA/AML, sanctions and fraud risk management programs and regulations, banking regulations, local standards, and internal policies.

  • Experience conducting Bank Secrecy Act /Anti-Money Laundering audits, Risk Management audits, Compliance audits or a combination.

  • Demonstrates experience in managing integrated internal audit and assurance delivery.

  • Experience of leading audits and performing in the role of auditor-in-charge.

Skills that will help:

•           Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
